Storylift was born from LoudDoor, a company specializing in consumer insights and digital media targeting. Storylift's first test campaign launched in Spring 2014. In just one day, the article was lifted to more than 20,000 designers yielding more than 500 application submissions, ultimately resulting in the hiring of 5 highly skilled UX designers and engineers.

The initial campaign was so convincing, LoudDoor's executive team made Storylift its own company to ensure it could reach its full potential. Storylift is now rapidly growing with a commitment to helping our clients tell their stories to the right people. With advanced targeting research, we focus on the hard science of market research to uncover attitudinal behaviors and preferences of your target audience. Like on the first day of your college marketing class, you're likely looking around this page thinking, "who in the world are all these people?" Well, they are our awesome team.  Some are new at this content marketing thing and many are old hats, but all are equally committed and ready to kick butt at helping you tell your story. 
Jeff French
Jeff is Chief Product Officer for Storylift where he leads the firm’s product development and is responsible for Storylift’s overall strategy. Previously in banking, Jeff has been a technology entrepreneur since the late 90's and was there for the boom and the bust.

Jeff is an avid baseball fan. When he’s not speaking, writing or dreaming about Storylift, you can find him at a local baseball game. He also enjoys Gamecock basketball as well as hunting and fishing on the regular. A South Carolina native, Jeff resides in Columbia with his wife, three children and dog, CJ.
David Guy
David is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Storylift.  He manages the strategic growth of the company and is passionate about harnessing consumer data to clients’ goals. Previously, David held senior positions at State Street Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”).  David was a partner and led the Consumer Finance Practice at PwC, and built a practice focused on enabling major financial institutions to gather and analyze the consumer data and behavioral trends in their lending portfolios in ways to more accurately value, price and risk manage financial products.  David is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.  

As an outdoor enthusiast, and like much of the rest of Storylift team, when David is not in the office, you can usually find him on a long open road with his Harley Davidson or some back-country powder if it is ski season!
Nancy Margaret Harkins
Nancy Margaret acts as the Vice President of Operations at Storylift. Over the years, she has worn a lot of different hats and has worked with Storylift’s founder and Chief Product Officer, Jeff, for over 13 years. When she is not trying to keep the office in order, she works on the client side with account management, and is responsible for coordinating all conference and trade show events.  

A University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in Journalism and Advertising and PR focus, she has expertise in event planning, human resource management, project management and office administration.

Nancy Margaret is a proud Gamecock fan and loves football.  A member of the Junior League of Columbia, she volunteers with numerous charity organizations. Her passion is traveling, and over the years has been fortunate enough to see some amazing places. Nancy Margaret is a girl from the south with a double name (so remember she goes by both names: Nancy Margaret!), and her first love is her family (her husband and 2 daughters, 2 and 4) with whom she spends most of her time.
Benjamin Matthews
Benjamin works as a Software Developer at Storylift. With a degree in Computer Science, and close to half a decade’s experience in web and software development, Benjamin loves to ensure that clients receive nothing less than the best experience while using the Storylift platform.

During his free time, Benjamin enjoys playing his guitar, running, studying Spanish, building computers, and doing small woodworking tasks. Being a tech-junkie (and proud of it!), Benjamin loves keeping track of the latest developments in the tech world, and often finds himself drooling over the latest gadget. Benjamin currently resides in South Carolina with his wife, and his Golden Lab.
Philip Matthews
Philip is Social Media Strategist for Storylift. Before starting at Storylift’s parent company, LoudDoor, Philip was Office Services Supervisor of Columbia law firm, Adams and Reece, LLP.  He is also the founder, owner, head of product development and manufacturing at Duck and Strut Outdoors, LLC, a company specializing in duck calls and oyster knives.

Philip is a member of, and for two years served as Chairman of, the Columbia Board of Ducks Unlimited (DU).  Under his leadership as Chairman, the Columbia chapter was one of the top 100 DU fundraising chapters in the country. An Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow recipient, Philip is an avid outdoorsman and spends much of his free time hunting (firearms and archery), and in wildlife and hunt-club/farm management.  He is keenly interested in local and national politics and is always in touch with breaking developments. Philip lives in South Carolina and works in our Columbia office.
Amber Rankin
Amber serves as the Vice President of Client Relations for Storylift. With 10+ years of experience in marketing and client relations, Amber helps Storylift clients tell their story to the right audience. She focuses on traditional direct sales and engagement delivery with consultative client projects.  

A Winthrop University graduate with a degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration, she is experienced in product development and management, product promotions, project management and consultative services.

In the off hours, Amber loves spending time and laughing with her three children. When she can break away from family life, she enjoys listening to live music and bashfully admits she’s a bit of a TV junkie. A beach bum at heart, she finds herself close to the water anytime she’s due for a little vacation. Amber resides in South Carolina with her husband, three children, and one dog (Belle).
Bobby Redfern
Bobby is the Director of Product Development at Storylift. With more than 10 years of direct response marketing, creative design and social media strategy experience, Bobby tackles nearly every aspect of day-to-day operations to ensure each client sees the best possible result. From research to media buying, Bobby helps keep the Storylift ship running.

When Bobby isn’t working his product development magic, you can find him smoking BBQ, mountain biking, cooking competitively, beekeeping, restoring old Coke machines, hunting, fishing and doing jumping jacks.
Jim Rubenstein
As the Chief Technology Officer at Storylift, Jim is heavily involved in the day-to-day construction and improvement of the Storylift platform. He leads the technical team by making pragmatic decisions drawing from over 10 years experience in the industry. With a vigilant eye on quality, Jim works closely with the entire Storylift team to deliver the best results to our clients.

While not in the office, Jim spends his time reading, flying model air planes, and spending time with his wife and two children.
Jimmy Sawczuk
Jimmy is a Software Engineer for Storylift. Since graduating from Case Western Reserve University in 2009 with a degree in computer science, Jimmy has worked in the start-up space building robust and elegant solutions for a variety of products. Jimmy works all over the Storylift platform and magazine, but his primary focus is on the targeting and sample estimation algorithms that ensure clients’ campaigns are seen by the right visitors. Jimmy is also an active member of the open source community and frequently contributes to Stack Overflow.

In his spare time, Jimmy is an avid runner and bicyclist ,and you can often find him outside enjoying the Columbia weather. Jimmy is also a baseball fan (go Tribe!) and he spends a lot of his vacations visiting baseball stadiums all over the country. His adventures can be read about on his blog.
Lauren Swink
Lauren serves as the Director of Client Relations for Storylift. With over 6 years of marketing and sales experience, Lauren works directly with clients to strategically market their story through the Storylift platform.

Before joining the Storylift team, Lauren was Director of Sales & Marketing for Carolina Select Brands a parent company for multiple retail & wholesale food businesses. Her expertise is in customer service, sales management, account management, product sales and trade shows.  

She is a College of Charleston graduate with a double major in Business Administration and Hospitality & Tourism.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys being outdoors and running with her Boykin Spaniel (Palmer). She’s a fan of good food, enjoys cooking and traveling (with a camera in hand) when possible. In the summertime, you’ll find her anywhere near the water. Lauren currently resides in South Carolina and works out of our Columbia office.
Ebonn Thomas Twilley
Ebonn is Communications Director for Storylift. With nearly 10 years of marketing and communications experience, Ebonn has expertise with branding, product launches and campaigns, social media marketing, C2C and B2B communications, trade shows, and event planning.  

A University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship Management, this Gamecock has volunteered with The United Way of the Midlands and Girls on the Run. Her participation in and graduation from the 2014 Leadership Columbia class led her to join organizations and initiatives including Sustainable Midlands and Building Bull Street, a city-wide economic development initiative.

When Ebonn isn’t working, you’ll find her going to yard sales and thrift stores, designing interior spaces, dabbling in photography, and posting lots of pictures of her and her husband's dog - Archie, cat - Mr. Poose, and three chickens - Tanya, Trisha & Trixie. Ebonn currently resides in South Carolina and works in our Columbia office.
Dikran Yacoubian
Dikran is the Co-founder and President of Storylift and its parent company, LoudDoor, LLC.  He is responsible for Storylift's political and advocacy markets segments and has 15 years of experience in the digital advertising arena. In addition, he oversees LoudDoor’s outdoor client portfolio ranging from ATK/Federal to the NSSF.  

Prior to co-founding his own company, Dikran was a political consultant and a pioneer in the area of web-based communications, advocacy and research.

Dikran is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast and enjoys a range of activities from hiking and skiing to competitive shooting. He also enjoys cooking, flying and reading anything that has to do with modern aviation.
